What could be better than a ballet with goblins and skeletons???? Can't think of anything at the moment. Loved it. Middle of Act II, skeletons popped up from orchestra pit! LOL

Only wish it had been a bit longer.

More medical stuff

Gosh this is turning into a week of doctors. I overslept this morning so I decided to work from home (luckily I have that option cos I didn't get up til 9am....I've gone from insomnia to sleeping sickness, blame the weather).

Back to the plot.

I have to go for a medical for my green card and I have absolutely no record of any vaccinations cos I had them nearly 40 years ago in a country far from here. I called up just to find out how much it would cost, etc., etc., and the receptionist said "oh you can come round now, it'll only take 20 minutes". Eeeeek. So I went. And now I have a prescription for more blood tests than I thought possible, a chest x-ray and a tetanus jab. YUK.

That'll teach me to wake up on time :-D

Flu Shot

Got one cos it helped last year. But my arm aches so much :-( and, of course, now I've started sneezing. Hope it's just a temporary reaction.

Stuck up a mountain

I managed to escape the snow in Buffalo but as sod's law would have it, I ended up a mountain with a car that wouldn't move!!!

The mountain was in NM - Sandia Peak - and the car was a rental that I'd had for about 14 hours. Flat battery. Great! Sat there for four hours waiting for someone to come and rescue me...mainly cos they sent the two truck to the wrong place.

Got down eventually and, believe me, I'd rather have that to deal with than the snow at home.
